Praying Through was an idea adopted on the golf course. On the golf course where good and bad and struggle and triumph are all good in an arena of play. It's easy to Count it All Joy there.
On the course of life, to Count it All Joy is a much deeper process. One that really takes a faith and a belief that ALL things work together for Him that love the Lord.
Through sin and pain, to Count it All Joy means to always be looking up, despite the situation, despite the human reaction, despite a life lived in weakness.
When we are weak, He is strong. Thank God for that. But we must acknowledge and act in His ways.
I recently found myself seeking for more and more answers in His Word, while trying in my very human nature to be more of a vessel for His Word. I find as I try harder, I fail harder. I pray that's the devil and I recognize and denounce him in my life. And recognize growth in Praying Through and seeking Him.
It's easy on the golf course. But it takes His strength on the daily course of life. Jesus showed us humility, and did not come to this world to condem the world but to Save it.
As I strip away the things of this world, I find myself in a place of condemning, anything and everything. I pray that I will pray through, seek Him, and find Joy and Count it All Joy through His peace.
It's a choice to die to myself, it's a choice to seek Him. I pray through the struggles and the many blessings, I chose Him, through the power of the Holy Spirit within me.
Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks....
