Ephesians 3 - Wow!

Wow!

Ephesians 3 really unleashes the power of God in us!

Ephesians 3:20 TPT 'Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.'

Wow!  Our pastor just preached on this this past Sunday and it's such a powerful verse in any translation but the Passion really is inspiring here.

Backing up in the chapter is revelation on the path to get there, Ephesians 3:17 TPT
'Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.'

God is good!

Praying Through during life's struggles

Praying Through was an idea adopted on the golf course.  On the golf course where good and bad and struggle and triumph are all good in an arena of play.  It's easy to Count it All Joy there.

On the course of life, to Count it All Joy is a much deeper process.  One that really takes a faith and a belief that ALL things work together for Him that love the Lord.

Through sin and pain, to Count it All Joy means to always be looking up, despite the situation, despite the human reaction, despite a life lived in weakness.

When we are weak, He is strong.  Thank God for that.  But we must acknowledge and act in His ways.

I recently found myself seeking for more and more answers in His Word, while trying in my very human nature to be more of a vessel for His Word.   I find as I try harder, I fail harder.  I pray that's the devil and I recognize and denounce him in my life.  And recognize growth in Praying Through and seeking Him.

It's easy on the golf course.  But it takes His strength on the daily course of life.  Jesus showed us humility, and did not come to this world to condem the world but to Save it.

As I strip away the things of this world, I find myself in a place of condemning, anything and everything.   I pray that I will pray through, seek Him, and find Joy and Count it All  Joy through His peace.

It's a choice to die to myself, it's a choice to seek Him.  I pray through the struggles and the many blessings, I chose Him, through the power of the Holy Spirit within me.

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks....

God's Breathe

God's Word is living water.

What does that mean?

Well, I know that the unsaved will say the words of the Bible are not applicable to this time and are too antiquated to have relevance.

I still read verses daily that are mind blowing, that with just an ounce of faith and belief will change lives, bring the dead to life.

One of my favorites:
Ephesians 3:20 TPT
[20] Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power energizes you.

Wow! That is the Bible, showing us what God can do for His purpose through us.

Another one that I wrestle with context but an amazing verse:
Ecclesiastes 3:9-15 MSG
[9-13] But in the end, does it really make a difference what anyone does? I’ve had a good look at what God has given us to do—busywork, mostly. True, God made everything beautiful in itself and in its time—but he’s left us in the dark, so we can never know what God is up to, whether he’s coming or going. I’ve decided that there’s nothing better to do than go ahead and have a good time and get the most we can out of life. That’s it—eat, drink, and make the most of your job. It’s God’s gift. [14] I’ve also concluded that whatever God does, that’s the way it’s going to be, always. No addition, no subtraction. God’s done it and that’s it. That’s so we’ll quit asking questions and simply worship in holy fear. [15] Whatever was, is. Whatever will be, is. That’s how it always is with God.

Wow!  This is that same Bible, with verses that can change the world.

ALL in ALL there is no ambiguity...

I can do ALL things through Him who strengthens me.  Philippians 4:13

Count it ALL joy brothers when face trials of various kinds for the testing of your faith produces steadfastness and let steadfastness take its full effect that you may be perfect and complete LACKING IN NOTHING.  James 1:2-4

Therefore do not be anxious saying what shall we eat or what shall we drink or what shall we wear.  For the Gentiles seek after ALL of these things and your heavenly Father knows you need them ALL.  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL these things will be provided to you.  Matthew 6:31-33

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.  We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take EVERY thought captive to obey Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

There is no ambiguity with God.

He said ALL.

And He meant ALL.

what is PRY THRGH?

PRY THRGH or Pray Through is a feeling and need that has clung onto me for a couple long seasons to give glory to God through all seasons, in plenty and in little, and to always, without ceasing, pray incessantly.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray without ceasing.

PRY THRGH represents our human need to be so connected to the divine that we must always be in comminication.

PRY THRGH was so real to me as I was on the golf course toiling when I wanted to be in church.

I thank the Lord He guided me back home to the house on Sundays.

But PRY THRGH is so real to me on and off the course.

And it's realness is in the human struggle, where old nature is chosen over our new nature in Him.

There's no pioty in PRY THRGH as we connect with God, purpose, meaning, our new nature, and winning, in a very tangible way, on the course.

I'm not saying this is everyone's way, as Jesus is everyone's, but those of us that learn His lessons and toil with earthly purpose on the course.

PRY THRGH is playing through a situation, seeing God's hand in that despite earthly being.  When I am weak He is strong. 2 Corin 12:10

I'd love to say there's only an evernglistic spirit in PRY THRGH but there's an element of discovering self worth.  I'm still on a path to understanding if that's good or bad.

But for now PRY without ceasing. 1 Thess 5:17
