I'm telling you I go in praying Ephesians 4:29 'Let no unwholesome word proceed out of my mouth except such a word that is good for edification, that is building up, according to the need of the moment, that it will give grace to those who hear it in Christ Jesus'.
I come out with the anger talked about 3 verses before, to not sin in response....
A quick search for anger and I'm hit with love.
What we're called to be as Christians because Jesus first loved us.
So, if I were to sit and acknowledge evil as I'd like to set boundaries to the evil, but the devil is smarter than that, so the only truth is then love.
I don't always know what that looks practically, especially in the moment, and the moment of anger. I thank God for the Holy Spirit to guide and 'out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth will speak'.
With that quick search of evil, Romans 12:21 is the first to pop up, ' do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good'. And good is the unending love and grace we're called to give because He first loved and gave to us.
So I suppose in the end, the concept of boundaries, like many concepts these days, is not relevant, and misleading to the actual need.
Jesus didn't have boundaries for His love and grace.
And we're called to represent the same.
