But for a mother, in some ways, it might be where she is first finding her identity.
We should all know our identity is in Christ, but some come to the realization at later points. And it is a continuous seeking that is required to stay in that realization.
But mother's finding their identify through another life can now create misalignment on priorities and relationship.
Where a rise and an acceptability to single motherhood is robbing children of their, then identify, and of having the protection from that a father is to provide.
Yes, men who do show up will fall short. But we're talking about the more extreme acceptable approach in American society. I suppose once you take out the Bible and an oath to country and God from schools, and feed them 16 and pregnant, and more reality shows meant to show us the reality of what we've made it.
But I continually depress.
When a mother finds her identity, its a great thing. A great step forward from living for self and feelings. A step to live in faith.

Misalignment. With good intentions. I found an identify in becoming a father. But it was only the start to a path. A life long path. But none the less it must start and end with the realization of our true identity in Christ, that we are fearfully and wonderfully made for a purpose.
I just say that from this perspective as a father, hoping and praying for mothers and future mothers in this nation. To find Christ, as I strive and hope for my life and those lives around me daily. And to find true identity. Beyond what they see today.
